Alef Multimedia announces "Voices from Gaza", a new project that brings authentic human stories from Gaza to a global audience in English, French, and Japanese. The project focuses on life, loss, and resilience, going beyond breaking news snippets and short social media posts.

Each story is produced in two editions: a cinema version for theatrical screenings and a digital version for global online distribution. This approach ensures a wide, accessible reach in Japan and worldwide.

The initiative is delivered through a strategic partnership with UPLINK Japan, a distribution company known for its firm commitment to amplifying Gaza’s voices. Alef Multimedia leads on-the-ground production and storytelling from Gaza, while UPLINK manages theatrical distribution and the online release.

The first episode premieres on 22 August, titled “Ahmed’s Story.” It follows Ahmed Al-Ghalban from Beit Lahia, who lost both legs in an attack that also killed his twin brother—offering a human-centered account that balances pain with dignity.
